Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort

The staff were very attentive and professional and the location was excellent- I appreciated that there were shuttle buses to get us to the parks but we were easily able to walk to T?ky? Disneyland. You also can?t beat the price of the economy rooms.

I wasn?t crazy about my husband and I being in separate beds but I understand this was due to the narrow layout of the room. It was also difficult to contact the hotel- I couldn?t make international phone calls and I didn?t see an email on the website.

Compared to Hilton Tokyo Bay, just about everything in this hotel was budget/2nd class. The staff services and friendliness were minimal, buffet selections were limited, rooms were small and dated, food options were bare meager. Everything was basic.

the location was nice - walkable to Disneyland, and shuttles offered to Bayside and Maihama stations, to get you to DisneySea and trains to everywhere else pretty quickly. The theme in the hotel itself was fun.

It just didn't seem like a four star hotel. Parts of the hotel were outdated, check in was a long process (and a long line, as you had to wait until exactly 3 pm to check in), and it is not actually called Sunroute Plaza anymore, which was confusing.

A Disney store and convenience store inside the hotel were pleasant surprises and very nice to have. View of the park was excellent. Staff was very kind, polite, and pleasant.

Room felt a little old, and there were some stains on the carpet.

The price was way to expensive, Japanese style shower, beds were tiny and hard, you had to pay to park there and pay for monorail.

Great location close to what everyone has probably come to visit, Disneyland. So close in fact you could hear the music when it opened in the morning! The themed rooms are great and very comfortable. The complimentary shuttle bus to Disneyland and the station was great and came often. There was 4 of us and we booked two rooms that were conveniently located next to each other as we requested. The buffet breakfast was great and the lounge area in the lobby was very comfortable to sit and relax. The gift shop and small supermarket at the hotel were a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you're staying in this area, I can highly recommend a visit to TeamLab Plants located not too far away. We loved our day at Disneyland and because we stayed close by, were able to stay until the end of the day to see the lightshow, parade and fireworks then catch the hotel shuttle back.

With a shop and supermarket at the hotel, an ATM would be a great addition.

Breakfast was great. The rooms are small, but we didn't need a lot of space! Our shoes got soaking wet in the rain and the hotel even provided a shoe dryer. The shuttle was very quick and great, but the Disney monorail line was also within walking distance (about 7 minutes away!) This was much more affordable than the on-site Disney hotels and just about as close.

The rooms were more spacious than ordinary japanese hotels like apa. The location was great with free shuttles to train station and disney

The TV was ancient and the hotel had an older smell. The blankets are more western style so they weren't very comfortable like the cotton fluffy ones in Asian hotels

Great Location for a travelling family of four (with two young kids) with great accessibility to both Disneyland and DisneySea. There's a free shuttle that runs frequently to Disneyland and another shuttle to Bayside station, which you then take the monorail to DisneySea. Our room was comfortable for the 4 of us with heaps of space for luggage and pram.

The location is stellar. The shuttles to the parks are great; easy to understand routes, large capacity, frequent. The hotel also has a convenient little mart and Disney store, and they will hold your luggage for you if you arrive early or need to pick it up after checkout. Breakfast was also super good.

The ship themed rooms are dated, you can see the wear and tear. But overall they are clean, still fun and cute, and comfortable.

Convenient location, convenient shuttle service, convenient laundry service, very cozy place with a fantastic and fun aesthetic.
